Everything just outside the city limits and worth a visit for a day trip.

Plus, Charlotte is a great place to go for a broader road trip to the US. A perfect place to record alongside; Knoxville, Nashville and on towards Memphis (in Tennessee), it’s a great drive (about 10 hours) that is amazingly easy to explore in a couple of weeks.

If you are in your planes and flying you will totally love this place, especially since you can get behind the control of some epic planes without having to get your feet off the ground.
