“Once upon a time” follows the famous freeride skier Jérémie Heitz, who tackles a Swiss resort on and off the slopes.

Swiss resort of Les Marécottes is like a second home to the skier Jérémie Heitz. “When Heitz conquered the larger peaks of the resort, he was looking for something bigger, better, more challenging than ever before,” teases the film. Heitz didn’t know at first, but Les Marécottes trained him on some of the steepest and sheerest mountain faces in the Alps.

The 8-minute film is a fun leap into the past, the story behind Les Marécottes and a bright look into Heitz’s future full of powder. (There’s a lot to talk about, but don’t worry, it’s accompanied by some epic cliff jumping and freeriding footage.)

With the help of HELP SkinsHeitz continues to challenge himself in the hinterland of Switzerland. In this film he drives peaks like the Obergabelhorn and the Lenzspitze in the Swiss Alps.

Seriously, if you want to see a dedicated Swiss skier fall in a line on a 4,000m cliff this is a must do.

This film was produced by Swiss-made HELP Skins.
