Find more off-road fun with the latest offering from BFGoodrich Tires. (Spoiler alert: there are no tires.)
BFGoodrich Tires just launched its OnTrail app to help out overlanders and off-roaders with one of the hardest parts of finding wild places in your 4 × 4 rig – where to go. Depending on which state you live in and what region of the country, finding a suitable dirt road or jeep trail can be a challenge.
Thanks to numerous functions and a community of 4 × 4 enthusiasts, the new OnTrail app is intended to give people better access to off-road spaces.
BFGoodrich offers more for off-roaders
Until recently, there wasn’t an easily accessible network that offered a well-defined way to navigate winding paths to world-class adventure areas. However, companies like it OnX and BFGoodrich make it easier than ever to get your overland going.
Just click on the app on your smartphone or tablet and you have an extensive network of trails close at hand.
However, the BFG app is more than just a few maps of the gnarliest 4 × 4 trails. It also includes a ton of other features to help off-roaders and overlanders of all skill levels.
“With OnTrail, we’re taking off-road adventure to the next level, making it easy for adventure seekers to find and share the best trails based on their specific criteria,” said Harold Phillips, global general manager of BFGoodrich Tires. “We see the OnTrail app as a digital extension of our commitment to industry-leading performance.”

The OnTrail app provides important information with which you can safely travel off-road. The main features of the app include the following:

Improve your off-roading skills by watching in-depth how-to videos. OnTrail’s videos show you how to tackle specific off-road challenges and provide quick tips on general 4WD and overland skills.
If you are a competitive person, the app has built-in “missions” such as: B. the maintenance of trails or the sending of a new trail first. You can then earn badges, leaderboards, and points after each mission. When you complete a mission or trip you will receive discounts and prizes.
With the expansion of OnTrail, BFGoodrich plans to introduce more features to give ATV, UTV and dirt bike enthusiasts access to the same maps, information and the integrated community.
