Goal Zero recommends that owners immediately stop using certain Yeti power plants and seek free repairs.

Goal Zero has recalled its Yeti 25A fast charge Power supply with input and output cables due to possible fire hazard. The recall was first reported to the Consumer Product Safety Commission on December 9th.

The recall concerns Yeti 25A fast chargers, model number 98080.

“The connection between the power supply module and the output cable can be loose, which can overheat the electrical connections and create a fire hazard.” The recall is.

Target Zero received three reports of power supplies overheating. The brand estimates that around 4,500 units are in circulation. The recalled units sold for $ 150 between April 2019 and August 2020.

The good news is that Goal Zero recommends a repair so you don’t have to completely replace your charger.

Goal Zero said they have received no reports of injuries due to the defect.
