In 2019 the local show sold out. This film, shot in the mountain towns, quickly became popular for one very simple reason: a shared love of Skimo. Now the film is finally available online.

“Sisters of Skimo” follows the journey of Sierra Anderson from Summit County and her ski mountaineering competitors (colloquially known as “Skimo”) who want to qualify for the World Cup in Switzerland.

The film introduces Anderson along with other veteran athletes and Olympic hopefuls and “becomes a journey of family and camaraderie in sport”. The 20-minute film was shot in part in Summit County and produced by Vails Howard Head Sports Medicine.
