The Game Call brand gives depth and muscle to MeatEaters’ wide range of hunting and cooking products.

MeatEater continues to expand its popularity as an all-round lifestyle brand. from media – including a Netflix series and a variety of podcasts – to written and cook-oriented content, to retail brands like First Lite and FHF equipment. Now MeatEater brings another offer with the purchase of Phelps Game Calls last week.

Hunter and civil engineer Jason Phelps started Phelps Game Calls in 2009. The brand of the same name calls for moose, deer, waterfowl, predators and turkeys, among other things.

Phelps Game Calls will remain at Pe Ell, Washington headquarters and Phelps will remain the general manager. But with Venture capital funding from MeatEaterThe Phelps brand now has the full strength of an enterprise team to support it.
