Ibis’ Ripley AF
The Ripley AF uses the balanced geometry and suspension of the Carbon Ripley, translated into an AF (aluminum frame) instead of a carbon frame with a slightly more aggressive geometry. The 120 mm rear travel and 130 mm front travel are snappy, fast and fun.
The trail-friendly 65.5-degree head angle (one degree looser than the carbon version), a short (44 mm) offset 130 mm fork and 29-inch wheels give this bike a super planted, yet playful, precise and nimble front end. The 76-degree seat angle directs the driver’s power directly into the pedals. And the short chainstays and the pedal-friendly DW-Link kinematics prevent you from romping around while climbing.
15 years of collaboration between Ibis and bicycle suspension guru Dave Weagle has produced another bicycle that promises great climbing efficiency and traction.
