GoHunt’s Matt Clark and Caleb Dillashaw break down their packing list before a week-long black bear hunt in the Frank Church Wilderness.
I love myself a good backpack dump, and the guys from GoHunt put it up Black bear season very nice.
One thing I always take away from a classic equipment overview is how differently each of us work in the backcountry. And it’s also a great barometer of how my own backpack could improve for future trips.
It’s also nice to see an abundance of pieces of equipment that are not brand new or sponsored and that are there to get a job done. These guys break everything down in 30 minutes.
If you are planning on going to a large country to hunt bears or otherwise, this is a nice watch to compare and contrast your gear before heading out into the field.
Make your list, double-check, look at and check again.
