The best way to Construct the Final One Field Camp Kitchen

We’ve all been there – you arrive at the perfect campsite for cars, rummage through your disorganized kitchen utensils … and find that you left your favorite knife and all your spices at home. Dinner is getting chunky and boring now. The solution? An all-in-one camp box like the LoadOut GoBox 30 from YETI, which is equipped with organizational tools, is impressive and is just big enough for all of your kitchen equipment.

Larger objects fall low

Unlike campboxes, which are just odd rectangles, the GoBox comes standard with a divider, a detachable caddy, and what’s called the Pack Attic, a full-length bag with multiple zippered pockets that fit into the top of the GoBox .

The divider (which doubles as a cutting board) divides the main compartment into two sections and gives you all sorts of options – for example larger cooking utensils on one side, groceries (or just all of your coffee utensils) on the other. The compartments are big enough for almost everything you need for two people: a small cast iron pan, some stackable pots, a couple of plates and bowls, and a small stove like the MSR PocketRocket Deluxe.

Little stuff goes up

Simply place items such as cutlery, spices, oils, detergent, a sponge and your lighter in the detachable caddy, which comes with a practical handle for easy transport. Stow longer, flatter items like your cutting board and a kitchen knife or important items like plastic bags and aluminum foil in the Attic Pack, which has three separate zipped compartments to keep everything in place. Pro tip: To keep everything safe during transport, place a roll of paper towels or tea towels on the compartment with your pots and pans.

And the entire box goes anywhere

Like everything else that YETI does, it is almost indestructible. And because it’s completely dust and waterproof, and has multiple external attachment points, it can go in a truck bed, on your car if you have a roof basket or platform, or almost anywhere you can safely secure it. Two more pro tips: If you have two GoBoxes (since the GoBox is also great for organizing climbing, fishing, biking, and other gear), stack one on top of the other and make a camp seat. Or if you need a stool to get into your roof box, a GoBox will work too.

From refrigerators and drinkware to backpacks and bags, YETI products are designed to meet the unique and diverse needs of various outdoor activities, be it in the remote wilderness, on the beach, or anywhere our customers live. We have an unwavering commitment to the outdoor and recreational communities, and we relentlessly strive to create superior products so that people can safely enjoy the outdoors and beyond.
