Vango 2021 tents created from recycled plastic from Outside World Direct

With a brand new collection of Vango tents made from recycled single-use plastics from Outdoor World Direct, campers can take their Leave No Trace efforts to a new level this year. Read on to see what’s new for 2021.

The family-owned online camping retailer has announced it is stocking a selection of four and six man tents from Vango’s Earth range so campers can reduce their footprint while enjoying the great outdoors.

In addition to being sustainable, the tents incorporate Vango’s main features and latest technologies to make camping more comfortable and accessible than ever.

Both the Joro tent and the Aether tent use Vango’s innovative AirBeam technology, which allows users to pitch their tent by inflating it with a pump, making it easier to pitch. Even the six man tents in the collection only take 12 minutes to pitch.

David Scotland, Owner of Outdoor World Direct, says:

“Campers appreciate nature very much and many want to reduce their footprint and shop as environmentally consciously as possible. We have always made sure that the brands we store produce high quality products to prevent the use of single-use / single-use tents and advise customers on how tents can be maintained and repaired to improve longevity. Now it’s great to see Vango take it one step further in the right direction by offering an affordable range of tents made from recycled materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill. This is an extremely positive step for the outdoor industry and instills confidence that we can sustainably enjoy the natural beauty of our planet. “

The Vango Earth collection is now available for pre-order via the Outdoor World Direct website. The inventory is expected for March.
