The latest ski parody movie ‘Hotdoggin’ Hans’ is worth a watch.
Do you think an old dog can’t learn new tricks? Well, that old dog doesn’t have to – Hans’s hot dog tricks are still as hot as they were 45 years ago.
X Games medalist Alex Ferreira plays Hotdog Hans in this parody, a former king of the mountain who is now an old dog trying to preserve his legacy on the local park lawn.
His character is as 70 as it gets: a retro jacket in red, blue and turquoise, jeans, bright white sunglasses with side protection and of course a hat instead of a helmet.
His bones ache and crack as he flies down a run. His confidence fades when he approaches a herd of tween park skiers and asks if they’ve already done it. “Be careful, old man,” comments a boy.
That will not do. Hot dog Hans wants to prove that he can keep up with the toughest park rats there – even at his age. Watch Hans channel his younger self and hug his hot, swagtastic old-dude style.
