The 20 ounce mugs with magnetic lock lids pose a risk of injury or burns. YETI encourages users to return faulty lids immediately.
YETI has issued a voluntary recall in collaboration with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) his Rambler 20-ounce travel mug with a fortress lid. The fortress lid uses the brand’s MagSlider which, according to the recall, can “eject” and spill the contents of the cups.
The recall issued today by the CPSC affects more than 240,000 Rambler travel mugs with the fortress lid. Affected cups and lids were sold in October 2020 and have the date code 34204010 on the bottom.
Consumers who have a recalled mug should stop using and visit immediately Product recall page from YETI for a full refund.
